Job Description: Vista International Technologies is a renewable energy and biofuels producer looking for a strong Process Engineer to provide quality process designs for the renewable energy and biofuels arenas. An experienced Process Engineer who will develop process designs, develop process flow diagrams and provide performance estimates for budgetary proposals. We desire a Process Engineer who will perform the conceptual process design and to provide a complete unit via a computer based simulation that includes calculations for flow rates, heat and material balances. You will be required to select or participate in the selection of proper materials of construction for major equipment; furthermore, you will be required to perform process engineering tasks as required to ensure a project is executed cost effectively and passes the required performance tests. Further experience in Gasification or Waste to Energy projects or other similar process technologies is a plus. The successful candidate(s) must have a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering degree and a minimum of 5 consecutive years experience as a Process Engineer. Trained in the use of Solid Works 2006 version or newer and/or experience with current version of AutoCad Inventor; the potential candidate must be proficient with parametric modeling concepts as well as drawing creation. These individuals must be able to take direction well, work independently but also within a team, and be flexible enough to thrive in an exciting and dynamic environment.
